I've finished my documentary and now my focus has now completely shifted to creating my videos for the fellows fair promo and fellows fair/presentation. I'm going to spend a ton of time editing this to make it super engaging and fast speed and will motivate people to come out to my movie night to watch the full documentary on May 20th!

Finished the Senior Night Gilman game and context leading up to Spalding. Right now I'm going to focus on making a short teaser for my fellows fair morning meeting presentation and actual fellows fair. It's definitely going to take some work since I'm in charge of putting all the videos and Ideas together for the morning meeting project.
I have completed the boys latin game and am working up to the senior night Gilman game highlighting the seniors. Progress is looking good and I am going to have to start dedicating time to the fellows presentation!
I am still working on the Boys Latin game. I'm really trying to make this game a really huge part of the documentary as it propelled us into the national top 25.
As I'm headed into spring break I will be following my week by week goals closely, So far I have All of the preseason done and by the end of spring break I should have All games up to the Boys Latin games complete. Right now is the time to take advantage of the free time I have to spend hours editing and working on my project.
After giving passing my Fellows Mid-Term review I'm getting down to the home stretch of my project. I'm beginning to work on the first two games of MIAA season and getting into conference play.
Notes from project: explain process of the actual editing!!! DONE! For my first post of 2023 below is a link to some of what I worked on over winter break. There are still edits that I'm going to make and revise but I'm very proud of what I have gotten so far. My outside mentor reviewed and has advised me of some things I can change and things to do moving forward but I hope you enjoy the first 10 minutes of my video.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lrN3PJxslKz_VY5UDjiIT5zv7vLOhmEN/view?usp=sharing Now that I have real progress going in my editing software its time to really start putting in the hours!
My goal for the deadline of Jan 1st is to have 15-20 mins of the documentary completed. This is going to be very rigorous as I've already spent hours on the first 2 minutes of the documentary. I have been bouncing ideas and having my Dad (outside mentor) review my progress a lot and give feedback which has been very helpful. These next two weeks are going to be crucial and I'm going to be working very hard up until my next blog post. I have started my first 2 minutes of my documentary and I am playing around with ideas which I have bounced of my mentor on which clips and videos I should start off with for the intro of my video. I'm excited to share my intro and progress with Mrs. Carsley on the 8th and I'm hoping to put aside in busy schedule about 2 hours each week in working on my video. As Winter Break approaches and I have more free time I'm planning to boost this time a lot more hopefully getting about 10 hours per week spent on my video and I should be able to reach my first 20 minutes of documentary if not. I will be at least 15 minutes in.
I have recorded my post season interview with Coach Christie and now I should finally be done with all my film gathering unless I decide I need a few more clips but that shouldn't be the case. My interview with Mr. Lagarde and Coach Christie this fall will prove to be very helpful as I plan to use them often in the documentary. Specifically Mr. Lagarde's I will be using now as I'm starting the beginning and context/background part of my documentary. Now I'm planning to start the beginning of my documentary and it is time to take the film and put it to work in my editing software!
